What “free” actually means here
Plenty of invoice tools call themselves free, then stamp a watermark on the PDF, cap you at three invoices, or ask for a card before you can download. This one doesn’t. There is no account, no trial clock, and no paid plan to graduate to — the generator runs in your browser, so there’s nothing to meter and nothing to sell you. Make one invoice or a hundred; the PDF comes out clean either way.
More than a blank invoice
A free invoice should still do the real work. You can add a single tax rate, per-line tax, or tax-inclusive pricing with a custom VAT or GST label; apply a discount; add shipping; and record a deposit already paid so the balance due is correct. Paste a Stripe, PayPal.me, or Wise link and it becomes a clickable “Pay online” button — or a QR code — right in the PDF.

Actually free. There is no paid tier, no trial that expires, and no per-invoice charge — you can make and download as many invoices as you want without ever paying or creating an account.
What’s the catch?
There isn’t one. The tool runs entirely in your browser, so there is no server cost per invoice and nothing to upsell you. Your invoices stay on your device, and the PDF you download has no watermark unless you choose to add an attribution line.
Do I need to sign up or give an email?
No. You don’t create an account, confirm an email, or enter a card. Open the page, fill in the invoice, and download the PDF — that’s the whole flow.
Is there a watermark on the free invoice?
No watermark and no branding on the PDF. The only way our name appears is if you deliberately turn on the optional “Generated with invoicepdf.app” line in the editor.
